Terms of Use (Beta) ยท Version 1, 5 October 2026
Using the lists
- The lists and data you get from Brokerless are for your own acquisition search only. That means you as an individual, or the company you work for if you're searching on its behalf.
- Don't sell, share, publish or pass on lists or data to anyone else. That includes clients, other buyers, brokers and data resellers.
- Don't use the data to build or add to a competing database or service.
- Don't scrape, bulk-download or extract data by automated means beyond the export features we provide.
Your account
- Your account is for you. Don't share your login. If colleagues want access, ask us for their own accounts.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Where the data comes from
- Company information comes from public records such as Companies House.
- Phone numbers and email addresses come from the business's own website, where they've been published for people to get in touch.
- Where we show a LinkedIn profile, we only link to it. We don't copy what's on it. The profile owner controls what they post and who can see it.
- The data is gathered from public sources, partly automatically, so it can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything important yourself before relying on it. Nothing in Brokerless is financial, legal or investment advice.
Contacting businesses
- If you contact people or businesses you found through Brokerless, you're responsible for doing it lawfully. That includes UK GDPR and the email marketing rules (PECR). Sole traders and partnerships get extra protection under those rules.
- Be respectful. Don't use the data to harass, spam or mislead anyone.
It's a beta
- The service is free during the beta and may change, break, lose data or be withdrawn at any time.
- We may use your feedback and any corrections you submit to improve the product.
- We aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the service, as far as the law allows.
Ending things
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we do, you must delete any data you've exported.
- We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll ask you to accept them again.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
